Eldoper capsule is used to treat diarrhoea caused by food poisoning or viral infections. The capsule contains loperamide, an active ingredient that decreases the frequency of passing stools by slowing down intestinal movement.
Roko capsule, Imodium capsule, Lopamide tablet, Lomofen Plus tablet and Andial tablet are some other medications containing loperamide as an active ingredient.
You should take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor or until your diarrhoea gets cured. Eldoper capsule should not be used if you have diarrhoea with blood or bacterial infection causing diarrhoea.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor about all other medicines you are taking. Eldoper capsules should be used cautiously during pregnancy and breastfeeding and only if recommended by a doctor.
